Violent & Challenging Behaviour

We have developed an assessment framework for risk identification and management that also informs any treatment needs for the young person – relating to either generalized aggression, violence or challenging behaviour; dating violence and domestic violence.

This also addresses victim as well as abuser issues and such an approach to a dual abuse experience is essential to help the young person deal with their past and try to carve a pathway to wellness. Meadows Care firmly believe in working with the assets as well as the vulnerabilities of young people to motivate them to engage in the necessary change.
