Sexual Behaviour

We have made considerable headway in understanding better the origins of sexually abusive behaviour, refining our understanding of risk factors with this group, in the actual conduct and focus of both initial and core risk assessments.

We use the expertise of our external consultant Martin C Calder (author of over 6 books in this area) to focus the risk assessment to inform our health and safety risk management work, offer pathways to encourage the young person to address both their victim and abuser issues, and to manage the young person safely. We are currently developing a treatment programme post assessment.
