Manchester Homeless project

In the Northwest, some of the young people and staff took part supporting the Manchester homeless project by collecting toiletries, sleeping bags, clothes and other essential needs for the homeless people of Manchester. This was a great success and a lot of the homes and staff teams got involved over the months donating and collecting items.

Two of the young people, KS and HP have volunteered at the distribution site in Manchester, serving food and drinks, going around the city centre giving out packed lunches and helping the other volunteers.

KS and Alison from The Croft held a car boot sale and with the money raised bought items to take with them when they next volunteered. This is an ongoing project but we need your help, please ask all your family and friends if anyone has any spare sleeping bags or if you would like to donate anything you think would be of use to the Manchester Homeless project, you can drop off at Meadows Care office where it will be collected ready for the next distribution.

Thanks Gemma Clarke-Registered Manager, The Croft.
