Meadows Psychology Service (MPS) is the part of Meadows that delivers our therapy services outside of Meadows Care.

I am extremely excited and proud to share that MPS have been successful in the tender for the delivery of the emotional health and wellbeing service for children who are fostered and care leavers for Wigan Local Authority, being chosen amongst stiff competition including national organisations.

This is an extremely exciting project for MPS who will be developing another therapy base in Wigan.

This service will run for three years with the potential for an extension and will be providing psychological support to foster carers, the social care system who support them and to children who are fostered and care leavers.

This is an exciting time for MPS which has been steadily and quickly growing over the last 12 months, including developing new relationships and contracts in the Midlands, North West and also branching out to Cumbria, Yorkshire and Ilford.

Thanks to the commitment and hard work of the therapy service, to being part of this journey to create and exciting and innovative additional offer of the therapy team.
